Rob Hoffman, co-founder of Production! NYC was a freelance editor for over 10 years, working for such networks as A&E, MTV, VH1, BET and ABC. He started in the tape library of a post-production house, worked his way up through the tape floor to the assistant editor's chair, became a linear editor and eventually ended up on an Avid - the typical path of a broadcast television editor in New York in the 1990’s.

In 1998, realizing that boutique non-linear editing studios were taking over the older linear rooms of the big post-production houses, he started his own production company, Evolution Post that still is operational today.

With a career that started on 1” reel to reel video tape and ending up in high definition digital, he has grown up inside an industry that has grown even more. That has made him uniquely qualified to start what this business has been waiting for - a system of linking the best editors in the field, with the production houses that need them - now.

Bill Hall, co-founder of Production! NYC comes from the world of medical staffing, where he compiled over 6 years of experience previous to founding this company. Although the combination of television and hospital staffing seems like an odd couple - Bill and Rob realized that they go together like peanut butter and chocolate.
